This year’s Brokers Cocktail was held at Alisa Hotel (North Ridge) on Friday December 11, 2009.
In attendance were personnel from various broking firms which had contributed significantly, to Metropolitan Insurance Company’s (MET) gross premium for the period 2008-2009.
The Chief Operations Officer of the company, Mrs. Lynda Odro, commended the brokers for their support.
The highlight of the programme was the presentation of awards.
In all 20 broking firms were awarded. Seventeen of the firms received certificates of recognition. Edward Mensah Wood and Associates emerged the top most broker. All Risk Consultancy and KEK Insurance. Brokers were second and third respectively.
In her address, the Chief Operations Officer said MET in the coming years intends to adopt a superior Client Relationship Management, Operational Effectiveness and Comprehensive Company Branding Campaign to unlock the significant potential in the insurance industry and to enhance corporate income.
